last question before the season
« on: August 30, 2012, 03:53:17 PM »
While archery hunting would it be legal to bring along my .410 for any grouse that I may come across? I have read the regs and I know I couldn't bring a riffle along but I am allowed a personal side are (which I sold) but a .410 is barely usable for grouse. I probably wont bring it at all but I would like to know just encase.
governments are instituted among MEN,deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever ANY form of GOVERNMENT becomes DESTRUCTIVE of these ends, it is the RIGHT of the people to alter or to ABOLISH it,and institute a NEW government

Got the jist of your post..... You can carry any sidearm with you..... And if legal use it for grouse.... A .410 would be perfect... Not even close to barley usable..... Very effective weapon if you know how to use it....

If you keep it in your vehicle your good to go...i wouldnt carry it in the field with you as long as you got your bow in your hand looking for deer/elk....if your worried about shootin a grouse pick up some of those judo tips and keep one arrow in your quiver with one for grouse
