My girlfriend Heather shot her first bear on the 2nd. The pack out of the unit was a little much for her, she's almost 7 months pregnant, such a trooper!!!

Grats to her first bear! And prego even...wonder what the baby thought that loud noise was?! Little tyke has already been hunting and isnt even outta the womb yet.

Breaking the baby in right away. Should be a little muffled in there, hopefully he/she wont be gun shy!

We hiked down to a cliff overlooking a clearcut that we've had good luck before on bears. As soon as we started glassing the unit I spotted a bear below us. I ranged the bear at 185 yards and she made a perfect shot and the bear piled up within 40 yards. It was all over so quick, I hope she doesn't think it's always gonna be that easy! I couldn't believe she stayed so calm, must be a girl thing, I think I was more excited than she was! She's definetely a keeper for sure! The boar weighed in around 210 lbs
