PLEASE HELP
« on: August 20, 2008, 11:16:01 PM »
Ok, i have a second deer tag in Methow, aka a doe tag, since I am not having any luck finding a place to hunt, I decided to ask on here again. does ANYBODY have some property i can hunt, all i want is an easy doe for good meat.  I don't know the dates I will be hunting yet, but it will sometime in september... hopefully.  Any help would be GREAT!!  Thanks,

I used to live up in Black Canyon... Quite a few deer up there... Its all state land. Black canyon is only like 5 miles south of the town of Methow.

I had that permit last year - The WDFW sent me a map of the open area and it included two of their wildlife areas open to public hunting - both areas hold plenty of antlerless deer and you shouldn't have any problem filling your tag. If they don't send you a map soon, send me a PM and I will fax you a copy of the one I have from last year. It's not easy to find private land to hunt on the valley floor unless you own it or are related to someone who does.
I beg to dream and differ from the hollow lies

In November U.S. manufacturing contracted for the the ninth consecutive month. Layoffs across the economy are higher than anytime since the pandemic in 2020 and I just read that the Midwest farmers will be receiving a 12B bailout due to 50 year trade relationships being destroyed. I have to admit that I was a sceptic and didn't believe in the effectiveness in tariffs but I'm a believer now.

My parents own some property south of Winthrop, but we can't hunt it, because of some thing they agreed to with the neighbors when they bought it, I was wondering about the map, and I am thinking I havent got it yet because i havent payed for the tag yet. :dunno:
