Shipping a scope
« on: September 01, 2012, 02:40:24 PM »
Any special tricks to shipping a scope? I am shipping it in state.  I just want to make sure it gets there safely. The scope is without original packaging.  Thanks, Matt

Wrap it up in too much bubble wrap and pack it good and full in a box with plenty of room.
 :twocents:
Pack it so the scope doesnt move inside the box.

And have the post office mark it with their FRAGILE  stamp and mark it GLASS.  I've shipped lots.  Wrap it with bubble wrap and make sure it fits in the box firmly.

Might want to consider using a Priority Mail Flat-Rate box also.  Inside the state address to address would probably be there the next day or day after.
