DUH.........radio collars...........where and who do you think put the collars on and then dumped them off east of northbend? Just like the collared wolf in northeast Washington that had DNA traced back to Grand Teiton National Park.

It's an absolute fact that cannot be ignored, if there were 3 wolves with collars they were all contained by someone and then released!  :twocents:

Keep in mind that it could be wolf groups releasing wolves! The area needs checked with a scanner to determine what frequency those collars are on.

I have a feeling wolves are now in alot more places than we think they are
I kill elk and eat elk, when I'm not, I'm thinking about killing elk and eating elk.

It doesn't matter what you think...

It is really important that everyone report their sightings this fall to the WDFW and also report sightings in our wolf count topic so we all know what's being seen and can hold the state accountable for sightings.  :twocents:

I wouldnt say they were dumped just yet. From the teanaway to north bend is literally no more than a 3 day trip to a wolf. Ive been telling people that since they were first discovered in the teanaway that they'd be on the west side in no time. I saw sign of wolves up french cabin out of roslyn when I was there over the summer and that couldnt be any more than 75 miles as the crow flies to north bend.

I was just posting that cause it looked like the statement i had quoted was directed at WDFW doing the releasing. I wasnt saying there were no other parties involved with possibly releasing wolves there.

so did somebody stop and give them a map of the seattle area at least or give them directions? :dunno:  Or did somebody tell them to hitchhike on the side of the freeway i-90 or i-5?  I'm sure people would be willing to pick them up give them a ride. :dunno:

I am not a supporter of wolf re-introduction by any means, but wolves in NB will make elk hunting in the area a little better(for a couple years) as it will push those big bulls out of meadowbrook. :twocents:

Don't ridicule me, but the faster we can get established packs all throughout the state, the sooner my trigger finger will be happy and be able to take down one of these canine's....... legally.

I think wolves in Northbend, snoqualmie, issaquah, samamish is GREAT! That is Kind county and the heart of the problem! Plenty of knuckle head that think wolves are cute and cudley there... I aways like it when people are affected by thier own decisions/choices!

North Bend, Issaquah, and Sammamish are way more conservative when compared to Seattle. There is a strong base of hunters on the Eastside of King co who are none too happy about Wolfy
