 If they don't head east soon they will be cut off for the winter by the snow. I doubt they would move east after the big snow starts.

Scottr i grew up in that area... There are plenty of Nieve do gooders that live there. Besides, Little Si, Bandera, exit 38 are all places that seattle folkes love to recreate... Perfect so that thye can have close encounters for the animals they love...

Phool, according to Nat. Geo. And animal planet, winter is the peak time of the year for wolves, that's when they're at their best because the game is plentiful and easier to catch.  So I don't think the snow and the pass would be a problem and besides, maybetheyll realize there is game (king/pierce co.tree huggers) to eat over there.

i also heard no keep i mind i just heard that some woves were seen in the raymond area, can anyone confirm that? now for these wolves in north bend, well lets just say i will not be to suprised when some tree huggin hippie gets attacked, if i remember right there is some hiking trails up there that those liberal wolf lovers like to hike on...

Yeah but thats because the elk and deer head lower and are more concentrated, the ungulates don't typically stay in the deep snow.

As sad as it is to say the wolves getting into King county is the best damn thing that can happen to get the fast track on managing them.  Once a few attacks on either people, or their precious animals that they consider on the same level as humans happen there will be much more pressure on Olympia to expedite the management process.
