Not going to see lynx on the Wetside...

Lynx eat pretty much exclusively snowshoe hare.  That is why they are a protected species in every state that Lynx exist.

That is a summer coat Bobcat...
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

It looks like a bobcat to me too. A lynx would have longer legs, larger feet, a larger facial ruff, and longer tufts on the ears.

Bobcat, it's too small for lynx.  It doesn't have too many spots but it's a bobcat.
And I think God must be a cowboy at heart
He made wide open spaces from the start
He made grass and trees and mountains and a horse to be a friend
And trails to lead ol' cowboys home again

Are you familiar with the difference in westside cats versus east?

Maybe that is what threw me for a loop....color is like no bob I have ever seen.  I regretfully admit I was wrong and am changing my original answer to....Bobcat for sure.
