Any tips for SW Washington bear?
« on: September 06, 2008, 06:08:42 PM »
Hey guys.  Just stumbled on this site for the first time.  Looks great.

Anyways, I've been hunting since about about thirteen, and I've taken a few bucks, so I'm not new to hunting.  But I am new to bear hunting, although I ran into two last year by chance.

Any tips for a good bear unit?  Everyone I talk to says either Siouxon or Silver Star, and I am quite unfamilar with these areas, despite them being close.

Are these good areas, or somewhere else?
