Get a job, shoot a deer.  Sounds like a hell of a couple of days!

It sucks ass that the lands you were hunting around here are closed.  I really wanted to be there after you shot your deer.

your welcome to come along, or you could wait for the video... thinking of trying my hand at filming  :chuckle: :chuckle: no pressure, just your first bow kill, plus first time being filmed  :chuckle:

I don't feel any pressure. The video will be my trophy; my girl friend is so adamantly against taxi trophies I have little chance at getting a shoulder mount or anything similar until I have a home with a man cave.

I still have to get past a few more hurdles for the job and if/when I get my deer at seabeck's and he is able to film it I will bring the video over to your place.

I'll be in Central Okanogan with Buckmark trying to fill my second tag next weekend.  Won't be able to make it over so I'll have to wait for the video

So my little brother managed to get another night off from work. He and I went out to the Quinault Ridge GMU and snooped around a bit. Saw 3 bear 2 coyote a handful of grouse 1 rabbit and a small cow elk (we think, it was running and had no antlers). We didn't run into any deer, couldn't get close enough to the coyote, don't have bear, elk,or small game tags, and don't feel comfortable enough with my archery skills to take a shot on the grouse. We had a great time and I found out my little brother is WWWAAAYYY out of shape. He stood no chance of keeping up with me in the brush or steep hill sides. He wants to borrow my "Insanity" work out discs now that I am doing the P90X stuff.

And if you get him a buck, cape it out for him.  If nothing else, we can get the cape to Michelle and turn those antlers into a nice antler mount for him that he can put into storage until he gets a bigger place where his girlfriend will let him put it up somewhere like the garage.
