The bigger buck with the nice bases was a spike only two years ago. So I think that says something about spikes not having good genes.

You might already. I'm only about 25 miles off of the island. I also spent about 10 years hunting on the island.

If you got a place i can hunt please PM me i mainly hunt the base... i would prefer a buck over does and these spikes runnnin around....
