leaving for the Quil in the next few minutes. Will report when we get back. We were there 2 days ago and it was loaded with fish. we walk down from the 101 bridge and fish the river coming back up. all you gotta do is get some before the treble hookers show up.  :bash:

yep , the quilicene was empty today as far as silvers go. TONS of huge nasty beat up chum to play with when you get tired of walking though. LOL. got 3 and gave one to the guy who is kind enough to let everyone pass down his driveway. nice guy and kinda funny. said i wouldnt belive how many people dont know the difference between a chum and a silver........ really ? LOL.

no natives today treble hooking but a ton of locals by the roberts bridge i guess it is called and the few silvers coming up had no chance of getting by. looked like a big family reunion down there.

Might take a little rain.  Even just a few sprinkles usually gets them moving being that it is such a short river.

Was there yesterday as well. One tribal up by the 101 bridge and very few fish. I had two on the bank and then went home. Should pick up after some rain...

Hit the Quil this morning with a friend that has not river fished before. We hit a couple that are going to fit nicely in the smoker. Few fish and even fewer fisherman which makes it nice to work the river. Lots of fish stacked up below the "legal zone" and they are getting stale waiting for water. Most of the chum have spawned and have redds everywhere. Lots of fun to watch and I think that summer run is make a nice comeback.

Good luck to all fisherman.
