Good for her! Looks like she has it under control. How is the recoil on the XDS? Was wondering with the smaller frame then the XDM. I have the XDM 4.5" 45acp and love it. If the XDS 45acp is managable on recoil and accurate at 7yds to 10yds I might consider getting one for summer conceal carry.
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.

The xds is fairly easy to control IMHO. Of course that is a subjective thing. I have an extended mag for it that makes the grip basically full size. With one of the stock five round magazines there is a little more "snap" to it, but still very manageable. Terrific firearm, shooting it accurately at only 10 yards shouldn't be an issue.

 Yes, they are controllable. She is ~110#'s 5'3" and has very limited pistol experience.

Thanks guys for the review and comments on the XDS. My buddy just got one and mabe have to go out with him and shoot it.
Nothing like a Remington model 700xcr.
