I pack the LRP around coyote hunting all the time it doesn't bother me but i want the kid to have a rifle to pack around so he gets the full experience. Also so he can learn muzzle control and to work for his game. I can pack everything but i don't think he would learn as much.

This is the 130gr 270 load at the range. the 7mm was about the same but i didn't get a picture of it. this group was shot at 100 yds
