Ferdi
Does anyone do european mounts of their animals? What do you think the cost would be to have these 5 animals skulls cleaned and shipped to the US? A friend and I were thinking of hunting Africa one of these years, but we were thinking of doing european mounts and large photos rather than mounting all the animals.

Dale
Most of my own trophies are EURO Mounts. Definitely will be cheaper to ship skulls only, skins make up for a lot of weight and good pictures will take the memories back to the experience. Dipp/pack and ship cost will be less due to smaller crate being used
Some clients from the Czech REP wanted Euro mounts but most take the cape and back skin with skull and horns.

You are welcome to add additional animals to a package and that will be as per price list on my web site.
OR
you can customize your own package with animals you like most.

Easten Cape area is a little difficult for bow hunting. Limpopo is very popular for archery but all most the same as in Texas, sitting in a blind over water and food.

I had a great time with Ferdi. I shot six animals,Eland,Bushbuck,Nyala, Blue wildebeest,,Kudu and Gems buck.,in 8 days. I wish I had booked a longer hunt as the Flights over and back were very long, the flight form Atlanta to Johannesburg was 16 hours. We hunted three area,s the Karoo, grahamstown and Jeffreys Bay. each area was totally different type of hunting,The Karoo was very steep hills more like sheep hunting, The Grahamstown area was hilly with very thick bushveld and the Jeffreys Bay area open plains to thick bush in the creek bottoms. The people were great and the weather was very nice to rain,so you need to bring all types of cloths. Please be in shape for your PH it makes the hunt more fun.John
