Osprey photos
« on: September 02, 2012, 01:11:11 PM »
There's been an osprey hanging around one of my irrigation ponds. The other day I watched him catch a fish right in front of me - of course no camera! Last night I took my camera when I was changing my water, now I had the camera but the osprey was already done fishing. Cool bird to watch, but at the same time I have a catch-n-release rule for the pond. :yike: (first 3 pics)

A couple of years ago I had another osprey circling the small pond in my yard, so I grabbed my camera and got a few cool shots - as he got one of the better fish in the pond! I seem to have a penchant for photos that just aren't quite focused, but still surprised I got these pics. I need to get some of the real photographers on here to teach me how to get better focus. :bash: (last 5 pics)

Cool pics... only one really looked out of focus..

love me some birds of prey photos...  especially action shots like those.
By my honorable conduct as a hunter let me give a good example and teach new hunters principles of honor, so that each new generation can show respect for their god, other hunters and the animals, and enjoy the dignity of the hunt.

Calling an illegal alien an 'undocumented immigrant' is like calling a drug dealer an 'unlicensed pharmacist'.
