Well, we are here in Whitehorse. We've winnowed our packs down to the basics, plus a little....

We fly out in the morning. The outfitter says they've picked up some nice stone sheep, one for the books. It would only cost about $20,000 more

though maybe a little less since I have the moose trip already on. He says lots of Mountain caribou as well, might be hard to pass up a great one of those at 20 yards, hmmmm. We are the first of the moose hunters for the season. Temps are dropping a bit tomorrow and the guides have informed the outfitter the bulls are starting to move a bit.
Can't wait to get out there.
