Yakima Area Grouse Spots

Hey all.

Going to be in the Yakima area tihs weekend and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction for some Grouse.

I am not familiar with the area so any help is greatly appreciated.

Get to elevation and you should find something (Southwest of town)...And watch out for rattlers!

Try black canyon in the wenas

seen em in a lot of places out here . If you are just road hunting the archers should have them chased off into the trees. little naches, nile, and bethel ridge units are where I see the most.

I am worried about snakes. My dogs hunt mostly on the Wetside and over by Dayton in the draws. And I am not fond of snakes as well.

So if I will do a search on the areas you posted. Thanks much!!

I'm confused I thought the fire was on the north side of North wenas road?  What road are you referring to?
