The animals are spread out right now and so are the wolves.  Once we get a little weather the numbers will pop.  Everyone in that state will have a tag in their back pocket this year!

Just remember the season extends until next year...Most people aren't even hunting for the Wolves yet. The numbers, imho, will increase significantly when people are modern rifle hunting

The season extends, but you have to get a new license and tag on 1/1/2013.
I couldn't care less about what anybody says..............

Any specific areas instead of generalized like the Panhandle or McCall ? I've been over there 2 times looking around, but over $ 4 a gallon.....

My buddy lives in Stites Idaho and saw 3 a couple days ago up Spencer Grade. He won't tell me where exactly because he wants to get 20 this year, rat *censored* !!!

Thanks for the info. That's the general area where I was aiming to go wolf hunting this January, so it appears I picked a good spot to start.
