You may have sort of answered your own question.... partiallySeems they are dang near everywhere in Idaho, but I would think that the areas with the highest kills will now have less of them! Right?Or at least the ones that are left in those areas will be much smarter afa hunters are concerned.
I sure wish they'd say exactly where in Idaho. The game dept said St. Maries area had the highest rate of wolves killed last year. I didn't see squat there. I still want one bad !!

just got back this afternoon from idaho and our camp of 12 heard them about every day but unfortunately no sightings. it was low 20's most of the week but when i talked with my dad about 1 pm he said it was almost 50 degrees in town and most of the snow had melted so it might be awhile for the animals to head down to winter
around pierce and weippe area. My brothers father-in-law took his trappers course recently so he could trap over there. he lives in pomeroy but has a place in pierce and just found out that since he isnt a idaho resident he cannot trap wolves! such BS
ok thanks for the info i will pass it along. they told him he can trap anything but wolves
