Wenaha Tucannon Camera pick up
« on: September 07, 2012, 12:11:49 PM »
OK guys here is proof we are out of elk in the Blues. Remember these are in front of the cmera and I know there are at least 8 more in this group that are out of the picture.  Count carefully and you will see at least 9 here of various dimension.  I picked this camera up 9/5 while packing a bull out for a non client.  I know where are the pictures but I did not have my camera.  He had a 9 inch drop on his left side I would guess him upper 350's to 370 gross.

Just because when I go elk hunting I drive a Rolls Royce and drink expensive Champagne doesn't make me a snob.  And yes I just freely admitted on a public forum to drinking and driving my Rolls Royce all at the same time.  But us New Yorkers are so rich I just buy my way out of tickets.   :chuckle:

Ok enough with the sarcasim. Why does everyone say that there are no elk in the blues. We see a lot of good bulls come out of there every year. Just want a serious answer. Don't mean to be an ass about it but I plan on applying for a archery tag in the weanah in the years to come

because there's enough hunters in the blues as it is.  A LOT of them!  i quit hunting dayton because every wide spot in the road had 4 rigs in it for modern.  are there elk?  sure, one or two...   ;) :chuckle:

I'm just curious. Do you get lots of pics in September? I've found that once mid-August hits they could care less about salt...
