NASCAR II
« on: September 09, 2012, 10:13:10 AM »
Went to the race at Richmond International Raceway yesterday.  Had a blast even though it was a two hour delay due to rain and then a 52 minute delay after lap 130ish.  They didn't finish the race until 0140 in the morning.  Didn't get home and into bed until 0400.  Jr looked great as well as Hamlin until a late race caution for rain.  They really didn't have a choice but to stay out since it looked like the race may get called due to weather, but then went green to the end so they really fell back at the end of the race.  Here's a few photos.

We had seats in the Pink "E" section, right before the start/finish line.

It was good race.  Someone lit a fire under Gordons butt after that in-race rain delay, but it started to late to catch bowyer.

Stands looked real empty near the end.

And I like my Chase like I like my women, "no Busch"!
The only difference between a butt kisser and a brown noser is depth perception.

That was a pretty exciting race.  It was funny at the end when Steve Latarte made the call to stay out hoping for rain.  Jr. came back laughing lets laying all down on black.  Hamlin had the strong car and Jr. was a close second.  Awesome pics.
