I was in the Leavenworth/Wenatchee area over the weekend up high.  Even the areas that are open are so covered in smoke that the back of your throat burns and visibility is at most a mile.  At least it is near 1/4 mile.  I would highly advise avoiding anything over that way.  It isn't healthy and doesn't feel good on the lungs.  Up at ~7000 feet it wasn't as bad, but still not great.  The poor air quality starts about Gold Bar and gets worse from there on HWY 2.

I was over in the Wenatchee  area all weekend and it was the Smokiest  I have ever seen. I was going to go High Buck .  but to many fires and Smoke you could not see one if it was ten feet in front of you. It sucks  Now have to find another area until next year .  :twocents:
