Dry as a popcorn fart over here! I was up high last weekend and if it don't walk to you it's not happening!

That's kinda what i'm figuring.. I know fire danger is getting crazy and they've been shutting down the woods as well... God bless them Firefighters.. Could of lost one of my Go-To's two weeks ago if it wasn't for them..

Last year archery had the elk in rut on the east side. This year looks like its gonna be muzzy!  should be good because there haven't been many hittin the dirt.

no different than the normal dry and 80's here like every single year..nobody here gets elk in the peak rut..archery guys get just the begining and muzzy this year will be lucky to get the ens at Oct 6th

1/4 of the state is on fire or shut down, this means that there are some new hunters to every area.. ran into a few over the weekend, really dry so lots of blown stalks, plus some are with holding their success  :dunno:
