My 50 yards groups have always been better then my 40 yard groups, not sure why but always has been.  I always shoot & test my broadheads at 50 yards just because of this.  My 20 & 40 yard pins are red and 30 & 50 yard pins are green.  Might be onto something with the green showing up better. I never knew why but I am definitely best @ 50.  Mike

My 40 is a yellow pin and that one bugs me a lot. The other colors arent a problem but that yellow one in the bright sunlight sucks for me.

Any of my red pins.  Those are all getting the axe in the off season and going from .029 pins to .019, all yellow and green

You should always set your pins in 10 yard increments, even if you think you can get away with one pin for a 20 yard gap, it will always screw you in the field. Your spot hogg is intended to be used so that the sight ring around the pins is perfectly centered and just inside the sight ring of your peep site. So one site aperture is slightly inside the other and then you just settle the pin you need. This keeps the anchor point consistent. If you try to center the pin inside the sight aperture then your anchor point will change with yardage, and can cause some inaccuracies.

I second the above statement.
