My go-to rifle is a Winchester M70 SS featherweight/composite stocked 30-06 w/ Leupold 3-9x40. Loaded with 165gr Nosler Solid base handloads.

Pending TIME to work on handloads, I may have a Winchester M70 SS composite stocked 300WM w/ Leupold 4.5-14x50AO. Loaded with 180gr Nosler E-Tip or Barnes TSX/TTSX handloads.

Nostalgia guns are a 1953 Winchester 70 in 30-06 with an ancient Scopechief 2-7x on top of it OR Granddad's R721 in 30-06 with a Redfield peep over the rear bridge. Both with Nosler 150 grain Partition factory loads. ( I got a BUNCH of boxes of cosmetic blems for a SCREAMING deal a while back)
A Smith & Wesson Beats Four Aces.

Whatta ya mean I can't have one of each?

What we have here is...Washington Department of NO Fish and WATCHABLE Wildlife.

WDFW is going farther and farther backwards....we need FISH AND GAME back!

Just got a savage lightweight hunter model 11 in 6.5 creedmoor, could not be more happy with it! when you think compact you think no good at range, well, it's good at that too. :)

7 MM Mag  150 grain Nozler Ballistic Tip Boat Tail.  The gun shoots the noslers extreamly well. I have been messing with the 167 grain Berger which seem to shoot pretty darn good as well.

Son shoots a 338 Rem Ultra Mag 250 grain sierra bullets....  When he was home for the summer he was messing around with the 300 grain Berger bullets.  He said the Berger bullet shot pretty well.

My gf will hit the woods this weekend packing my 243 with 90 grain accubonds over 42 grains of imr4350. Should be around 3050 fps or so. Haven't checked. Went to accubonds from 95 ballistic.tips.
