Looks like somebody in the "Quah" got a little trigger happy. Sounds like they may pop him for illegal discharge. Be interested to hear his side of the story. Was he protecting his family? Was the bear threatening? These things are going to happen more and more as people build more and more. Kind of feel bad for the bear in this one. I feel like the shooting needs to be justified more than if he had popped a meth head....but that is just me.

Not any info in the story to judge whether it was justified.  Although, it is suspect since he fired at a bear last year.  Sure was a big bear though..........
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

I agree.....no info at all to judge the shooting as justified or not.

The only thing he did wrong was not using a suppressed rifle  :chuckle:
I would like to know the details before anyone judges him. It could have been aggressive.
I hunt therefore I am.

your all drinking the Koolaid and giving every idiot the benefit of the doubt just to  :stirthepot:  huh???  When would it ever be OK for someone to fire four shots outside in your neighborhood with your kids sleeping in there beds.... Don't give me the intruder response cause that isn't this and don't say he had no choice when he could have went inside his house and shut the door and called it in.  I know there isn't anything in the story to suggest anything was done wrong but come off your innocent school boy stance, he clearly needs some guidence as to firearm safety and ethics lessons

Where are the pictures of this "450 lb" bear they are talking about?
