Re: Bear Whitetail II- how to adjust the draw langth?

You have to replace the draw modules on the cams.  It is going to be almost impossible to find any for a bow of that vintage.  I'm at the Sportsman's Warehouse in Puyallup.  Stop by, and I will take a look at it for you.
Hunt hard and shoot straight!

ok so i called Bear, they emailed me a draw adjustment pamphlet for it, it says it may or may not have adjustable cams, must be taken off to tell. but it doesnt tell how to take the tension off so i can do that. so if anyone lives in covington and knows how to do this, and your really bored, let me know  :chuckle:

I have had that bow before. Your probably not going to be able to adjust the draw. Mine was set at 30 inches and I am a 28.  :bash:Those bows are pretty old so make sure you check the limbs and string really well before you start shooting. When they break, you could get really hurt. :twocents: FYI I picked up an awesome deal on Ebay, $200 for a bare 2007 Bowtech (totally adjustable & a nail driver). Just keep looking around until you find something that fits you.

You will need a bow press, take The bow to Larry at sportsmens warehouse since he already offered to help you in the post above.... He knows his stuff and can help you out.
