Transporting wolves

Was on I-90 west bound about 5 miles east of Samamish when we saw a truck transporting wolves. No idea how many were in there as the truck had some small 18"x18"ish doors / windows that were open for air flow when one came up to look out.  Anyone know if they are taking some to a zoo or are these ones heading somewhere else for release??

Hopefully going to drop them off in downtown Olympia and Seattle....  let the liberals see wolves up close and personal!

No markings on the truck or box; mint green in color cab and did not think to look at plate.

Seen the same truck on I-90 in Ellensburg this morning.There was a ATV in the truck bed, and was pulling a dog trailer.

This truck had no ATV. It was a larger commercial type truck.  Wish I had gotten some pictures with the animalslooking out the door / windo that was open.  Oh well; would of, could of, should of.................

When I passed this truck I could see there faces. I just thought they were husky sled dogs and I  thought it was strange that there was an ATV in back of the truck and not a sled.I didn't give it a second thought until I seen your post.

yeah my hunting partner and I were coming across the state on I-90 sunday.  we picked up the grey kenworth with a large box on the back and probably two levels.  just behind the cab on the lower level was a barred 4x4 opening that you could plainly see a couple of wolves inside.  the first time one of the lighter wolves was going in circles like crazy.  we never could catch up with them and had to exit to fuel up...in Cle Elum.  then just out of north bend there was the truck again.  with traffic being what it was we saw the wolves laying down inside the truck and again was a couple lanes over.  just behind the cab were the words "Predator of the Heart" written on the side of the truck.  he slowed we sped up and it was gone.  I was thinking that he was delivering the wolves to the Bellvue/Seattle area so the granola's can experience the great wilds in their own back yard.  you know thin out the dog and cat population while providing that primal howling into the night.

It's hard to believe that after all the wolf issues/threads/arguements on this site, a member would see a truck full of wolves and not think to get some kind of evidence.

 What are the odds of actually catching someone in the act of releasing wolves, getting pics/evidence, if we can't even get evidence of them running a truck full of them down the highway in the middle of the day.

 The wolf advocates have to be laughing their collective asses off.

My take on the matter - if they are actually going to transport and release wolves ........ at this point, let them.  I'm all for it.  Just shadow them and call the WDFW with the GPS coordinates of where they were released.  Get pics of the wolves as they are being released.

In fact, I'll help them.  We could probably capture enough packs in the NE corner and strategically release them elsewhere and: 1) not even put a dent in the numbers in the NE, and 2) reach de-listing objectives by like ..... this Friday.
