Scatter Creek
« on: August 23, 2008, 04:06:30 PM »
New to the archery hunting world here in Olympia. Has anyone hunted Scatter Creek?? It's public land and I know it's mostly a pheasant release area, but it seems a good area to hunt blacktail. How about Black hills, any good access areas?

I've never hunted scatter creek but I know that there are deer in that area, just need to get to the back in the oak trees. Black hills (capital peak) would be your best place to start, lots of access too. There are several places to enter: Waddel Creek, Summit Lake(Rock candy), Porter/Malone...Best of Luck!
