WOW! Killer animal. Congrats! Just as an aside to those who are mislead; there are no roosevelts east of I5.


Is that because of all the signs along I-5 telling the elk they can't cross? Or is it just easier to cross the cascade mountain range then it is to cross I-5?

I had the privilege of accompanying Jason on this hunt. Jason pulled the trigger but just watching it all happen was pretty cool. We hunted hard for 4 days and as he said we were on this bull the day before he got him. Having an animal like this screaming at you on the other side of a tree is something I'll never forget. It made the hair on the back of my neck stand up! For any of you that know Jason he's a great guy and works hard to put himself in a position to get an animal like this. We weren't driving down the road that's for sure. He earned it! This is what hunting is all about.

Congrats Jason!

Now start training so we can go back and get his brother next year! :tup:
