Teanaway or Mission for Bear?
« on: July 25, 2007, 08:13:57 PM »
Ok, so I got my first bear last year in Mission. I now am dragging a few guys to a bear camp next week. I have yet to really learn the Teanaway, what is your thought? Teanaway or Mission?

Should I focus where I found my bear last year, or explore a "new to me" area?

There are two ways to look at it.

1. You found and killed a bear, you know the area at least a little bit. Where there is one bear there are bound to be more. "Dragging a few guys" to "your" area could give you more competition in the future.

2. Exploring "new to you" area could lead to more bear areas. If everyone shares what they find you will learn the new area alot quicker.

You can always save last years spot as a plan b.

Good luck.
