Are electronic decoys legal now?

I was aware that in the past they were illegal, I was asking cause the law might have changed and I had not heard about it. I read the regs but laws change even after the regs get printed

I can buy a car that goes well over a 100 mph, but you show me where in the US I can legally drive that fast.  Pretty disingenous to blame it on retailers if they carry a product that you cannot legally use in this state.

I like to help people out every chance I get, but it sure gets frustrating and old when people just get on here and ask about regulations instead of trying to find the answer for themselves FIRST!  I don't just give my kids the answer to their homework, I make them figure it out and then make sure they did it correctly.

I understand, but these aren't your kids and we're not here to teach people how to behave, or at least we shouldn't be. If you don't want to help, don't. It's a waste of everyone's time, including yours, to stop just to rag someone out. There are plenty of people who don't mind. Sometimes people just ask to get some interaction with others.

Helping others understand how to look things up in the regs for themselves is a behavior modification.  I feel it is important that people know how to find things for themselves.  So, yes I am trying to teach people a behavior in a sense.  It may very well save them a ticket at some point in time.  Sorry you feel that is wrong.

Wa is 1 of 3 states that do not allow use of electronic calls for waterfowl and hopefully (fingers crossed) next year we can use at least electronic decoys! It would be nice to use a wind decoy when there is no wind!

An cabelas is a store for the rich an I agree I have always questioned there answers and knowledge!! Sometimes I wonder where they get these people!!!!

Cabelas was a cool gimmick at first but I've been in there too many time to go back. between the sales staff that don't know what they're doing, the product that you can't legally use in the state, and the expensive prices, I see no reason to drive that far.  I've done much better at Sportsmans with a similar (sometimes better) selection.

I guess I havent had the issues that you have had at cabelas, Ya some of the prices are high but shop the sales. The big thing for me is the warranty that comes with the cabelas brand products
