Hunting Water Sources
« on: September 22, 2012, 08:36:11 PM »
Hello!  I will be hunting in Eastern Washington during the upcoming blackpowder deer season.  I understand it has been dry and was wondering if anyone has had any luck hunting water sources, (e.g., pond, spring)?  What time do they typically show-up for watering?
Thanks!
Very repectfully,

Hunted the Rimrock lake area and some of the streams were at a slow roll and went to a couple of wallows (one was dried up and the other two had not one hoof print on it).  Don't know if hunting the pond would be such a good idea.  I am not impressed with that way to hunt anymore.  Will try something different next time and not waste my time getting there.
