hello im 14 and got my first wood duck today getting him mounted :chuckle:

the story is i was with my dad my brother and my firend...were jump shooting were driving and my friend goes wood duck!  :yike: and we get out load up and we dont see him....we throw rocks into a pile of weeds where we think he went we wait and wait and finally he decided to fly my friend mises i shooot i hit and my brother shooots and i shoot one more time same with my brother and he falls dead! preety cool for washington i think

Congrats they are such a good looking bird! I just saw one on one of my ponds. That is the first time I have ever seen one this high up. See them on the klickitat breaks but not up here. Hope he sticks around!

Ive been duck huntn 17 years and shot alot of ducks in those years and still havent got a drake wood a couple hens congrats
