Got butterflys in the stomach grandson fighting diearea it must be time for moose hunting. Got the trailer loaded licenses in wallet guns ready and we are heading out in the morning to look for a moose. Good luck to everyone and be safe.

I'd pass on that guy early in the hunt if you are looking for a trophy, it's a younger bull and probably only about 40 wide.  The problem with moose is they all look big, but if you really study the rack you will be able to tell the bigger bulls.

That was #2 in the state for muzzy and is 40 wide with nice mass. Its a nice bull, not a monster but solid.

Oh and that is a very large cape, biggest Shiras cape I have mounted .

thanks buck its a new ball game trying to judge a moose didnt see 40 on him   but i trust your word ...   guess ill just look at as many as possible and pick out the biggest one we see and go from there

ugh!!       this is cruel and unusal punishment having to work today with a moose tag in hand and a truck loaded fueled and bow and arrows ready to rock sitting at home......   god help me ge threw the day!!!!
