Very cool  8) You get props from me for using a longbow in the first place. I really respect that...but...I think I'll stick to those funny looking bows with cams and stuff  :dunno:  :chuckle:

:tup:That's awesome and some good meat. A lot of skill goes into taking one with a longbow and it looks like some really open country. Now lets hear the story

Yeah it is some pretty open country. stalking really means crawling lol.. I saw her from a distance about 200 yards.  She and several other nice does were hugging a cliff wall.  Soo wind in my face I crawled up on the ridge and crawled to the cliff wall to see them walking away drew and my arrow hit its mark!! :IBCOOL:

Sweet!
I'd just like to remind everybody that it's about the hunting, not just the killing. In other words, it's about the total experience, the sport itself and the challenge involved. Bowhunting, done right, is a justifiable and honorable pursuit. Done for the wrong reasons, simply chalking up kills and seeking personal glory, it's taking away rather than giving back to a principled way of life that has to be experienced to be understood. Nice job! That takes one sneaky SOB to pull that off.
