Turkey Bow
« on: September 24, 2012, 11:55:27 AM »
Does the pull weight of a bow pertain to turkey, i.e. 40 lb min.  I'm sure this has probably been discussed before but since Turkey is in the Big Game regs I'm wondering if there are bow restrictions?  Thanks.

You have to buy a small game license to hunt them therefore you shouldn't have to worry about the poundage.

Thanks.  My father in law passed away a year ago and I am thinking about trying to figure out his recurve. I'm pretty sure it would be fine for a turkey.  I'm sure the problems won't be with the bow, only me!  Time to go get some arrows and help and then begin lots of practice.
