Yes sled I knew this would take a turn but to try and keep it from derailing I wanted to keep a little humor going.  Its a nice animal and I hope we get to see some more pics.

I agree with John and STeve,  The herd was decimated in the late 80's and early 90's, by both sides and just piss poor management.  The whole month of January was a muzxzie hunt, and I know for a fact a lot of cows that had been bred never made it past January.  I loved it when it wasa Crown and the main line and most other roads were open,  they have taken away a lot of prime bear and deer country by locking it down.  Of course, the slobs and vandals did a lot to force them to do so, the dumping and damage done to the equipment.  Then we had everybody with their own sets of keys to the closed roads, running their butts all over the place up there where it was closed.  The Tribes have done their part and then some to get the herd back in the right direction, it is almost at goal again.  AS far as the over management of the herd, well that is the WDFW, I have asked them when the new Nooksack herd management plan would come out, since the other one is so old.... yep they will get right on that....
The gentleman that took this bull is a great guy, with a legal tag, using legal equipment.  The only posts on this thread should be congratulating the gentleman for taking such a nice bull.

110% spot on!!!

Congrats to the hunter!

This is a well deserved tag and animal for the hunter.  Again this site took off in the wrong direction when a great animal was taken.  This bull is a beauty, the picture posted doesnt quite do it justice.  I doubt any more pics will be posted after some of the off target replies, i know i dont care to post any of the ones i have.
