Yep there's wolves in there I saw one Saturday morning early a silver gray color phase. The camp next to us saw a jet black one thursday. Both wolves were up in the Ewe neck.

I'm getting really curious about the wolf population on the Yakima Reservation.

I'm getting really curious about the wolf population on the Yakima Reservation.

according to our bios they haven't been here for many many years.  But, as I related a story in the wolf thread I remember being ushered to the truck hurredly and leaving abruptly with my grandma and aunties as a young boy because the meadow we were gathering roots in had wolves in the treeline.  the exit was near them and I can recall seeing them.  I also posted seeing a grey one East of Mt. Adams but by the time I stopped and whipped the camera out it was out of camera range.  I know if there was a population they wouldn't last long because of the discontent majority of tribal hunters have for them.  I haven't seen one in the wild besides that one time and even if I did i'm not risking my freedom or rights for it and if somebody chooses to do so then best of luck to them and don't tell me because I don't want to be involved or have any knowledge of it.

just wondering bean counter if you could replace that picture of yours with that of a wolf...would be more pleasent to look at?

I'm guessing you have no clue where I stand on it, and apparantly I am ok with that.

The fact I have absolutely zero evidence or facts other than heresay I find it not very dangerous.  Mainly posting it as "there are no wolves in Tampico."  Makes me smile.   I suppose it would be in poor taste to scream Hallelujah!  I guess this thread will do.

I think its safe to say I do know where you stand on the wolf subject. I posted that comment as a joke and to me it doesn't look like you understood that  :dunno: I could be wrong.  I do believe there are wolves around here and have been for awhile.  Although I have yet to see any evidence for myself, I have heard numberious stories of sightings from people I tend to believe.  My comment "there are no wolves there" was meant as a joke meaning shoot the SOB it was a coyote! Just like every other thread on this forum someones gotta say it.  It's not a bash on you if you took it that way.

The wolf is what it is. I don't hate it. I just hate the liberal who keeps us from killing it.

It wasn't your comments camo.  I understood where you were at.  I believe it was in response to Haugannas comment.
