Nope not the same cape. All my stock capes from the past 2 years are still at the tannery ......  :bash:

Thanks Guys, its the biggest blacktail I have mounted.

Just wondering, when someone brings in such a rare specimine, do you get a little nervous working on it or is it just business as usual?

That Jackson County always has some monster posted at the sportsmans show.  Are those a true BT down there?  I have been told numerous times that they are benchlegs, but not entirely sure.  By the looks of it, I would call it a benchleg.  Nevertheless it is a dandy.

Great work Charlie!  I grew up hunting blacktails in Douglas county.  Seen a few great bucks but that thing is a freak!  Love the trashiness.

Absolutely astounding work. That is an incredible deer and a great mount.
Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him. Like arrows in the hands of a warrior are sons born in one's youth. Blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them. They will not be put to shame when they contend with their enemies in the gate. - Psalm 127:3-5
