I've lived over here for five years and run across some big hogs a few times.

Word has it two of them got poached back 3 or 4 years ago.  There was a 6X6 that ran with a brute 8X7.  They found two bulls together headless, since they were inseparable after the rut it had to be the two studs.

Only good thing is they did a great job breeding because each year since I have seen bulls like this one.  His scrape is a pine about 5 inches in diameter.

I'll try and get him with my good camera.  He is magnificent, glad you agree.

I know a few bulls that share the same bloodline. They have a very distinctive set of headgear. The Easton area is my elk stomping grounds.

Great bulls in Wa, Sunday I'm headed to an any elk hunt in New Mexico for the ninth time.

With any food fortune I'll be able to post some NM pics of my ninth NM bull.

Good hunting to everyone.

Dang, that's a big 'un!

We just finished building a weekend cabin (and potential retirement home) near Roslyn and are in the moving process.  Can't wait until next year when I'll finally have some time to wander the public land around there and see what hunting opportunities are available. ;)

Ok all you judges out there, What does he score?

This should be fun!

I can tell you this much by looking at his front shot his thirds are not weak lik a lot of bulls that are not yet quite mature and on the second picture you see his fourths on up are nice.  Decent length in the main beam catagory and could be a little wider but wont hurt his numbers much.

I would put him over 360 but under 375.

great looking bull!

I'd put him right around the top end of your guess, right around 375"ish.

Always fun to stab at this.  in person this was a bull that impressed from the first second I had eyes on him.

Tough to tell from the pictures and I didn't get more than a minute or two to watch him but I would say he pushes 375, good mass and his fronts were strong too as well as main beam length.

I had a blow up at work and didn't make my annual trip to New Mexico.  My brother and son went though and opening morning my brother tagged out a 6X6 at 20 minutes of morning light and my son tagged a 5X5 that evening just before dusk.

I'll put them up in the 2012 bull thread.
