last year opening day was 14 degrees.  we are at about 7500 feet

Painting it tonight with high heat paint. Ill post some final pics tonight if i can.

Pretty cool.  Have you looked at the set ups that add a second barrel above the main stove?  They trap the warm smoke and give it another barrel to transmit heat from, so your tent can get hotter, use less wood or both.

yeah we looked into it and its just too much. im sure as it is now with this one we will all be sleeping in our skivvys with the windows and flaps open.
but its a cool option
