First time on trailcam..
« on: September 29, 2012, 07:03:21 PM »
Got these two guys in one of my elk spots in Idaho.   Hopefully they don't stick around but if they do I hope I get a shot at them.

It is northern part of unit 4 so south of priest river. i really did not think they would be in this close to town but I guess they got to go where the food is and there is a ton in this area so have a feeling they will be sticking around..

I had my tag also so was hoping they would come by when I was in there.  I will be in there pretty much all of modern elk so maybe I will get a chance at them..

Hard hunting up there with the timber and not much open space.  If you can get into a place where you can see a bit it might work to call since they are in the area..

I am pretty sure they are young I found some tracks about double the size of theirs back behind the camera.

Campmeat. You make it up there?  I got another two on trailcam from last week so at least 3 possibly 4 in this area.  Hopefully one will stroll by when I am sitting there this week.

Not there. I was up to Nordman/Coolin area. I was told there had been sightings up on Jack Pine Flats. So that's where I was. I'm still game and kinda waiting for cooler weather. I was in some snow at 3100 feet.
