Well we are definetly getting on birds, we are all having fun and we really want to see what a good year is like if this is below average.the biggest challenge has been figuring out all this bma stuff. This is going to make pheasant hunting washington hard , its kinda like going trout fishing after you have fished rufus woods and the average trout is 4 pounds.

I'm hearing bird numbers are phenomenal this year in MT. Talked to Bluemoon a couple days ago, said it's lights out. Same with reports coming back from Havre.

Wish i'd of seen this thread when it was started. Just moved over here beginning of August. I drive by Froid every day for work and there were a few bird hunters staying in Froid. Saw your tent how did you end up doing?

Nice pics. Just drove by Froid this morning and there are still 2 rigs camped in Froid. The one has been there for a couple weeks now. Passed a rig with WA plates just north of Froid with a kennel in the back. All I was thinking was if it was someone from this sight or not.....LOL

Bluemoon, how did your trip go?

I have always wanted to hunt over there but never really knew where to start.

with the block management program its really easy find some great spots. it seems overwhelming at first but they damn near hold your hand for you.

I have looked at the maps and it was overwhelming. There was so much land and the terrain is so big. The time of year when I am able to go is late November. Has anyone ever hunted there that time of year?
