That is insane!  Be safe out there, and  :mgun:
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”

Western Washington is still federally protected and state protected. That's why it cost the White's so much, their area was not federally delisted like the more eastern part of Washington.

This state needs to be delisted and people allowed to protect their property.  :twocents:

I would shoot them, and assume they are dogs, not wolves. (Since there are no wolves on this side of the mountains, yet).

If they turned out to be 100% wolf, oh well. We all know the only good wolf is a dead wolf.

Oh, and as far as the legality of it, I think it is legal to shoot wolves in order to protect livestock. But don't quote me on that.

I would say if they are in Castle Rock then they've been all around Rainier and St. Helens

I would think that if it was legal the McIrvins would have solved their wolf problem themselves rather than waste time with WDFW?  :dunno:

I would think catching them in the act would be different than just finding a dead calf.

I think the legal part is 'in the act', so he would be good to shoot.  The McIrvins (to my knowledge) are at the scene when it is happening.  But have to check all the laws.
