Not worried about the wording, I can find loopholes if I want to.  I'm trying to obey the intent of the law. If I know a gutpile is there, its probably going to be considered baiting by a judge.  If I knew where they dump buckets of rotten apples yesterday, I'm probably not going back to hunt over it.   I don't agree with all the rules but, I'm not going to push my luck and hope an officer sees it my way...  I'm a "avoid all doubt" kinda guy anyway.  Just giving an opinion and not trying to get into an arguement. Thanks.
Hunting, Basketball, Cars.... not much more for me to talk about.

I see it as, if you place the gut pile there, from a kill, elsewhere, that would be the same as putting Crispy Creams out.  On the other hand, if you, or another lucky hunter, left the guts where the animal expired, you didn't put the pile there and are not expected to remove it from the woods.  If it is there, it is like berry patches and nut trees - fair game.  Just shoot straignt.   :dunno:

I love how some game wardens don't even know the law and simply make up rules. I once had a GW tell me that I couldn't feed elk and deer corn (about 8 years back). I called him on it and he changed his story to "Well, F&G does not recommend that you do it. It's bad for the animals." Lol.

You can sit a gut pile unless you placed it there for the sole purpose of baiting (ie. conveniently relocated). If you found the pile or it's your animal that you killed, there is nothing they can do to you. If you disagree lets see it in writing.
