No opener for me this year
« on: October 08, 2012, 04:03:15 PM »
I usually hunt the opener down on the delta and hunt the salt but I haven't seen many local ducks for the last 7 days!  Might give another week before I go out with my friends.
Now I'm looking into doing some jump shooting with my boys this year and now need to find some new locations to get them a little more involved. I bought them some RNT calls to learn how to quack and get into it with Dad and they are looking forward to going out with me!! Now I'm in trouble, I need to locate some marsh, ponds or some areas for my boys to hunt with me on the ground. I have some areas to check out past Graham, Rainer and Yelm, but I'm looking for any ideas and areas to take my kids! Any ideas on where to take my kids to learn with out screwing up some one else's hunt?  Thanks guys

Thanks Gasman I'll look into it. I have the number to call but never made it a priority, now with the kids breathing down my neck I just might need to do that!

This will be my first in 25 years. I have goals of BWT. Not for me. But others. maybe darks or snows or green I might shoot.
