I think I shat in my pants
« on: October 02, 2012, 08:31:03 PM »
so went do a little scouting to see what kind of access a area had, got a little ways in and just felt eerie...creepy eerie...  :dunno: I keep looking around and then walk, then look around then walk.  :dunno: I already knew what I was watching for and kept telling myself "keep an eye out but you wont see one, they are not as common as you think, chill and keep going". I get a little ways down and decide to walk back over my path as I learned this as a kid in the foothills of California hunting, sure nuff i got kitty prints over mine.

 :yike:

F***************K! I'm just on a quick hike, no weapon at all except an ink pen (apparently i forgot my knife on my belt :bash:), which is now being held with a white knuckle death grip ready to puncture some lungs  :o. I decide to turn around and head back and see if he on my prints at the other end where i made a u turn and doubled back, hoping to see what side of me hes on at least. yep. at that end too. WTF  :yike: ok so I go back n forth 3x and i think i confused him because he finally just sauntered out into the dirt road and stared at me. WHOLY *censored*E never seen one up close, Im no good at guessing cat weight but he was tall, long, and not skinny, his paws were HUGE and he crouched down looking like he was going to pounce me wiggling his tail, kinda like my killer cat does to a sqeaky toy, OHHHHHHHHHHHHH SH*T I'M A SQUEAKY TOY  :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike: and for some very absurd insane reason I raised my hands, my ink pen,  and screamed ( i wont repeat what  :chuckle:) and ran towards him and he bolted.
THEN I BOLTED THE OTHER WAY  :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike: :yike: I have no idea why on earth I did that, am i insane? did i lose muy freakin mind? what the @#@! was i thinking? i mean im glad it worked but i hope i never do that again  :o

anyways the EZRA BROOKS shots are kicking in, and im going to eat dinner, my wife is still laughing her butt off.... NOT FUNNY  :spank_butt: :spank_butt: :spank_butt:

as a kid hanging out in the foothills (Coorsgold & Dinky Creek, for anyone that know where the hell that is ) we were always told for most animals dont run, stand there and hold your arms up, I think that old memory triggered in a very insane way, and came back to me :o

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time.  :chuckle: :chuckle:
but that had to be flippin scary.  if his tail was flickering, he could have been ready to pounce.  glad you jumped first at him.  i will keep that in mind if that ever happens to me.

What?  No gun.  You could have dirted a cat!  A nice trophy for the wall and been the savior to a lot of deer.
Cut em!
