Cold storage for moose
« on: October 09, 2012, 05:25:48 PM »
So we are in Spokane ready to hunt moose and some of my intel was faulty. I was advised crown and Eggers could hang it but they will only do it for the privilege to process. I respect that but I only need hanging given the temperature and we process our own meet ( cost and pride ).  Any suggestions within an hour or so from my Spokane south would be appreciated.

We just got home with two moose and we storaged one in Newport, can't remember the name but it's a meat processing place and they only gharged us 20.00 and 3.00 dollars a day after that. Good luck!

Thank you guys for the input. We saw 4 this morning. Two cows and two bulls but it was no guns as we didn't want to put one down without having meat storage lined up.  We looked up the elkchatteroy option. It is reedys custom meats. The gentleman we talked to was great. We are all set to visit them this afternoon!
