Just read the game regs as mentioned.  No limit if out in public areas, in the Puget Sound, CR or private lands.  It's the DFW controlled areas that may have restrictions along with refuges that allow hunting.  It varies from site to site.  Most of the ones in Skagit county will only allow 15 shells.  Ridgefield allows 25 shells.  When we sea duck hunt we usually bring a few boxes of shells.  Just keep them dry as the salt water will rust them up in a few hours.
Cut em!
It's not the shells!  It's the shooter!

I have read the regs. That is why I was confused about the 15 shell rule. I was even more confused when I read the sign that said 15 shell limit because I thought that it was implying that that was always the rule. Reading the regs doesn't help what I was asking, but whatever.

Circular conversation is going in circles. A few posts back kccrawler directed me to the page it was on(page 26) I had just missed that section when I was looking previously. Sure reading and knowing all of the regs from page 1 to the last page would be ideal. I don't have perfect recall, so occasionally if I am not sure and can't find something in the regs I ask here, and usually someone can help me find the right page, or tell me that it's not documented in the regs, but is in RCW or something like that.

I was just asking what skagit hunter was saying NOT what the regs were saying. Even if I was talking about the regs, I guess there is no asking about them on here.

I was just asking what skagit hunter was saying NOT what the regs were saying. Even if I was talking about the regs, I guess there is no asking about them on here.

Some people I guess are just not willing to give more help than "Check the regs" this is fine for people who have not tried looking there already as long as it is something that actually is in the regs. It's not very helpful in some cases though. Lets take for example deer baiting.

It's a common question because we have in the regs that you can't bait bear, but nothing about baiting deer. I know now that it is legal because it is not explicitly illegal. If someone asked here and was told "Check the regs" that would be some fairly useless information.

I commented that it was going in circles because at this point, I don't think you are going to convince Skagit that we have read the regs, or that just telling us to read them wasn't helpful. And I don't think he is going to convince us that it was helpful.
